This is a molded brain using ballistics gel. It turned out a little more cloudy than I had hoped. But it is still awesome on its boney tripod.

Negative space to fill: Thee Project

I was on my way to the project that I had settled for, when I walked pass this spot. I changed my mind, I had to work with this spot.

I decided this looks like some sort of twisted, morbid trophy.

This is a finalist, but I keep finding better spaces everyday, but this is the best yet.

Project 1: Wire Sculpture: Container

My plans for my sculpture were anything but set in stone. Originally I planned to create a skull, however, after twisting my first length of wire, it took on the shape of a heart when I joined the ends. I created this heart to contain some things that I love. And I took a photo at the end of every time I worked on it. The bottom photo being the final product.

Found container

So I left my dwelling with a goal of finding treasure at a nearby dumpster. People always leave stuff around the dumpster. I took 221 steps to get there and I found this object (below), by itself, already contains objects. Thinking that this wasn't good enough, I went about the rest of my day, looking at everything that surrounded my path, I pretty much gave up after approximately 1200+ steps. There wasn't anything as cool as this treasure.
